Dr. Jones joined Talbert Medical Group in 1991. He served in Vietnam in a provincial preventive medicine program for which he was awarded the Bronze Star for Meritorious Service. At first, he was a Deputy Superintendent of health for the City of Milwaukee, working the city's childhood lead poisoning program. He has practiced pediatrics in Orange County since 1973, first in private practice in Fountain Valley for 20 years, and then with medical groups. His wife, Lynne, is a nurse who works in health care. A long time Huntington Beach resident, he enjoys traveling with his wife, the arts, expanding his culinary expertise, and gardening. His new interests are kayaking and mountain hiking. His two children are out of the nest: daughter Carlin is a postdoctoral fellow in New York City after receiving her PhD in Neuropsychology, and son Davin is a contractor in San Francisco and Chico. |
